Seminole Canyon State Park and Historic Site : This is my favorite park near Lake Amistad with hikes to the lake where the Pecos River and Rio Grande River join. Also they have very nice guided tours to the Seminole Canyon rock art.
Devils River State Natural Area : For water sports for the non-diver, hiking, biking and nature watching this is the very nice place.
